The Murrays are back in fashion with their new women’s shoe line.
The brand, which was founded by comedian Murray McKenna, was inspired by her favorite colour, black.
“Murray was a real artist and I wanted to do something that I would wear when I’m not at work,” Ms McKenna told News.au.
“I thought about a color I’d be proud of that was so vibrant and I thought about that colour for Murray’s shoes.”
The brand has teamed up with fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, who recently launched the Murray shoe collection in the US.
The shoes will be sold exclusively online starting next month.
The Murrays, who were previously known as the Murrays and Murryds, are a staple of the fashion scene.
The duo are known for their work in drag and the Murrydys have also appeared in drag shows around the world.
The new Murray shoes feature a range of styles from black to pink to red and grey, and will be available in limited quantities for $160 at Dolce and Gabbna.
“We are all very proud of Murray, we are proud of her and she is a great ambassador for Dolce Gabbanna,” Dolce director of sales and marketing, Michelle Pender, said.
“What she is doing in her life is something that she is passionate about and we are very proud to be a part of her brand.”
